此笔海为清康熙朝早期代表性文房器物，题材为南北朝时期孔稚珪作《北山移文》。此文章是一篇讽刺当时假借隐居来沽名钓誉的文人。通篇508个文字，以青花蝇头小楷书写，字体朴拙有力，一丝不苟。康熙青花瓷器以文字题材最难绘制。其次是绘画题材的，本品器壁落熙朝传古，篆书临印。底输大明成化年制款，其中，熙朝传古，篆书临印。多用于康熙朝宫廷笔筒及其他文房器物，康熙十八年前，只允许落前朝款或者双蓝圈款，不允许下本朝款。
