此件香盒为清宫造办处所作炉瓶三事之中的香盒。盒子呈扁圆鼓型，铜质精纯，子母口，盖面圆拱，盖子中央开光，辅以珍珠锦地纹作底，其上以高浮雕喜鹊登梅题材为饰，布局疏密有致，极富装饰效果。整件器通体黑漆古色，盒内鎏金保存完好，物胎体厚实，通身皮色温润，宝光内敛，且保存状况完好，为文房香案上的佳品。
