A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SITATARA, TIBETO-CHINESE, 18th ct., seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with her right hand lowered in varadamudra, the left in vitarkamudra, both hands holding stems of lotuses flowering along the upper arms, wearing sari, scarf, jewellery set with beads, her face is displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into her nose-bridge, the blue coloured hair-dress is combed in a chignon topped with a ratna and secured with a five-leaf tiara, unsealed - Provenance: Former old European private collection, assembled prior to 2000 - Slightly chipped, very minor wear
