剑璏是古代装饰宝剑上的玉饰之一，穿系于腰带上，即可将剑固定于腰间。《说文》:“璏，剑鼻玉饰也。”
明代中晚期，玉剑璏已逐渐和四套一组的玉具剑脱离，而单独演变成为一种专供赏玩的玉器，彼时文房雅玩发展到鼎盛时期，玉璏大小合宜，古意盎然，温雅直至，作墨床之用极为合适。
本件清代玉剑璏，形制规矩，为经典的平顶双檐式，一端平直，一端内卷，底部有长方形孔,阴刻双福捧寿纹。顶面高浮雕双螭龙，在有限的面积内双龙首尾相对，夸张的S形躯干充满着强劲的运动张力，卷曲如意，瑞意之间，彰显不凡的等级，龙身巧留金黄俏色，韵味十足，藏玩皆宜。
