此器胎体厚重，仿上古青铜壶造形。撇口，粗束颈，两侧装饰一对龙首与凤鸟组合的双耳，仿若龙口吐凤，凸显祥瑞。颈部以云雷纹作地，饰兽面纹两组。弧腹下收，腹部主题纹饰为重环纹，线条环匝流畅，古意悠然，简约而独具韵味。底承圈足。
此件作品在上追高古青铜器雄厚气息的同时，又融入本朝典雅静穆的风貌，置于殿堂之中，可解思古之幽情，使人领悟到古人非凡的审美情趣，殊为难得。
