A pair of 17th century West Country silver Apostle spoons, St. Peter and St. James the Less, by William Corseley, Gloucester circa 1663, fig-shaped bowls, faceted tapering stems, gilded initials, each nimbus prick-dot initialled 'R*B' '1663' over 'I*M', and 'S*B' over '1663' over 'I*M', length 17.8cm, approx. weight 2.8oz. (2) Provenance: A Private Collection. The Corbett Collection.
