A Charles I silver pierced counter box, cylindrical form, the pull-off cover with medallic bust of Charles I to left, the base with a bust of Queen Henrietta Maria, containing a set of thirty three counters in imitation of engraving (by or after Simon van de Passe), the medal on the pierced box cover, and that on the base, in the style of Thomas Rawlins, the side three panels pierced with foliate decoration, height 2.8cm, approx. weight of box 0.53oz.
