A late-Victorian Regimental presentation silver two-handled trophy bowl, by The Barnards, London 1895, circular form, with ribbon tied swags above part-fluted decoration, engraved with the Regimental badge and inscribed 'The 1st Batt. The Welch Regiment. Tug of Warpany Challenge Cup, Presented by the Tradesmen of Pembroke Dock, July 1895', and also inscribed with the winners' names', on a raised circular foot, diameter 26.5cm, approx. weight 28.9oz. Provenance: This lot is being sold on the instructions of the Trustees of The Royal Welsh Regiment Museum Trust.
