An early 19th century silver handled basket, marks worn, possibly by Joseph Angell, London circa 1820, rounded rectangular form, foliate, shell and gadroon borders, foliate swing-handle, on a raised rectangular foot, the handle engraved with the badge of the 69th Regiment, very heavily repaired and patched, length 33.7cm, approx. weight 39.9oz.
