清雍正 窯變釉弦紋鋪首耳壺 四字篆書印款清雍正 窯變釉弦紋鋪首耳壺 四字篆書印款9 3⁄4 in (24.8 cm) high, boxDetails A FLAMBE-GLAZED HU-FORM VASEYONGZHENG IMPRESSED FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)The vase is well potted with a baluster body standing on a low, spreading foot. The shoulder, set with a pair of integral animal-mask handles suspending fixed rings, rises to a straight neck and a flaring mouth rim. It is covered overall in a rich glaze ranging from plum red to violet purple, thinning to a mushroom colour at the rim and relief edges.
