|本件笠帽壶体型朔大，是延续明末清初创始的小笠帽壶而来。其胎土厚重甚于前朝，泥料筛选更为精练，而造型线条的优雅度又高于康熙朝紫砂器，也不同于乾隆器物的精纯细腻纯料和烧结黏性，因此彰显出其雍正时期的过渡地位与优雅特殊性。可以说是延续了自明末以来的紫砂胎泥特性，又已达到极致，而器型的优雅大气也异于后朝的华丽细腻。底款〖方衡伯制〗四字篆书方章，其字体的随意性也是清早期的惯用风格，良工佳器，可惜早期优秀陶工地位卑微，能留名青史的微乎其微。
