徐 默 1960年生于福建。1981年毕业于福建省工艺美术学校。1983年考入浙江美术学院中国画系人物专业。1987年毕业留校任教至今。历任中国美术学院教授美术学博士硕导、中国美术家协会会员、浙江省人物画研究会会员理事、浙江侨界中外文艺交流协会理事、浙派中国书画研究院院务委员、浙江画院特聘画师。曾获“浙江省庆祝中华人民共和国成立四十五周年美术作品展铜奖” 、“浙江省第二届青年美展金奖”。代表作有《后羿与嫦娥》、《暗香》、《梦开始的地方》。
Xu Mo was born in Fujian in 1960 and graduated from Fujian Arts and Crafts School. In 1983, he was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of Zhejiang Academy of Art and became a teacher after graduation five years later. Serving as Ph. D Supervisor of Fine Arts in China Academy of Art, member of China Artists Association, director of Zhejiang Figure Painting Research Society, director of Chinese Foreign Culture & Art Exchange Association for Overseas of Zhejiang Province, committee member of Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of Zhejiang School and special painter of Zhejiang Painting Academy, he has been conferred many awards like the Bronze Prize of Zhejiang Art Exhibition in Celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the Founding of People’s Republic of China and Gold Prize of the 2nd Zhejiang Youth Art Exhibition. His famous works include Houyi and Chang’e, Secret Fragrance, A Place Where Dream Starts and so forth.
