李以泰 1944年生于上海。1978年考入浙江美术学院研究生部，毕业后留校任教。历任中国美术家协会会员、浙江美协理事、浙江版画家协会副主席、中国美术学院教授。代表作有《马克思主义是最明快的哲学》、《织渔网》、《初晴》。作品曾被大英博物馆和中国美术馆收藏。
Li Yitai was born in Shanghai in 1944 and admitted to the Graduate School of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1978. He worked there as a teacher after graduation. As a member of China Artists Association and Zhejiang Artists Association, Vice President of Zhejiang Printmaking Artists Association and professor of China Academy of Art, he has many great works including Marxism is the Most Vivid Philosophy, Weaving Fishing Net and Just Cleared of the Sky, some of which are even collected by British Museum and National Art Museum of China.
