金梅生 1902年生于上海。师承徐永清。1920年考入商务印书馆美术科，专门从事月份牌的绘画。曾任中国美术家协会理事、上海市文史馆馆员。代表作有《新中国的歌声》、《秀女饲养员》。
Jin Meisheng was born in Shanghai in 1902 and used to study painting from Xu Yongqing. In 1920, Jin was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of the Commercial Press for calendar painting. He served as a council member of China Artists Association and librarian of Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History. His representative works include Song of the New China and A Woman Breeder.
