高马得 1919年生于江苏南京。曾任《大公报》漫画专栏主编、江苏《新华日报》编辑、江苏美术家协会理事、中国美术家协会会员、国家一级美术师。1957年开始钻研戏曲速写，继之发展创作水墨戏曲人物。曾获“漫画金猴奖”。代表作有《三打白骨精》、《三借芭蕉扇》、《牛郎织女》、《蛐蛐》。
Gao Ma'de was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu in 1919. Early experience of acting as editor in newspapers like Ta Kung Pao, Xinhua Daily greatly facilitated his further exploration of sketch painting. Besides, he also was a director of Jiangsu Artists Association, a member of China Artists Association and A painter of national level. His works include Monkey Hit Lady White Bone Thrice, Three Times Borrowing Plantain Fan, The Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, Cricket, etc. bring him a number of awards.
