荷叶杯为白玉精心镂雕而成，色泽青白，包浆醇厚，局部带有黄褐色沁。荷叶造型，以叶包拢为杯。整器挖膛规整，花瓣雕琢层次分明，杯壁采用去地隐起之法雕琢莲叶上的脉酪，莲茎弯曲收拢于杯侧，作为杯柄。此杯取玉之高洁，莲之清雅独运匠心，并不过分强调刻饰，给人以天然去雕饰之美。
