白玉质，莹润细腻，包浆厚重，表面带沁。主体为椭圆形，中间有一圆孔，上端尖，下端圆，一面微凸，另一面略下凹，两侧雕刻卷云纹，线条圆润，周围镂雕一条螭龙，盘踞而上。鸡心佩来源于古代的韘，古人射箭时将韘套在拇指上用以勾弦，后期鸡心佩不再具有这种实际用途，而成为纯装饰品。
