铭文： 中正和平，有条不紊。同治癸亥嘉平月识于章门药倦斋，江阴悔余道人何栻并书。
配红木天地盖。铭者简介： 何栻（1816～1872），字廉昉，又作莲舫，号悔余，道光二十五年（1845）进士，江阴人士。咸丰六年（1856）出任建昌知府，后入曾国藩幕，颇得赏识，有“才人之笔，人人叹之”语。游走江西、浙江、安徽、江苏等地，寻找商机，致成巨富。在扬州购得东圈门某氏宅，改换门庭，大兴土木，建成壶园（后改称“瓠园”）为菟裘之地。著有《悔余庵文稿》、《悔余庵诗稿》、《南塘渔父诗钞》、《闻和见晓斋初稿》。
