此件水仙盆以紫泥制成，以盆身所绘之黑泥为特色。墨彩黑泥绘砂器清代宫廷亦有收藏，因较为少见而倍显珍贵，兼具文人气息，有慧眼者识之。通观此件黑泥绘水仙盆，造型素雅简练，流畅空灵，下设四角足，规整大气。盆上所绘，树影重重，茅屋隐匿，神秘却不光怪。小山叠叠，不阻江河川流。岸边可观流水，屋内可品香茗，远山近树皆在匠人心中，妙笔绘深意，当为紫砂盆艺爱好者所重。
