壶取松、竹、梅“岁寒三友”为题，以段泥制成，经茶汤浸润，泥色黄里泛红。壶把为松枝干，结节分布其上，自壶把底部有细嫩松枝伸出，玉树临风，又添威武之势。壶流如若斑竹，竹叶以彩绘方式延伸至壶身，盖面以梅枝为壶钮，盘曲之中有老干遒劲之力，壶身圆扁，三足作如意云纹。竹之清新、梅之俏丽、松之苍翠，岁寒三友应常伴文房之内。此种彩泥装饰工艺乃紫砂装饰的上乘技法，在紫砂史上具有重要的地位。
