砚盖铭文：烟波不动影沉沉，碧色全无翠色深。疑是水仙梳洗处，一螺青黛镜中心。觉庵陈淡如。陈（白）。 拍品原配红木砚盖。款者简介：陈澹如（1884～1953），名履熙，字澹如，又字坦如，号福田、觉庵、澹庐，晚称复恬居士。嘉兴人。结识章太炎，研习《说文解字》。西泠印社早期社员。书法擅隶篆，篆刻上通秦汉，近参浙皖，又善以拳刀刻竹。
