霁红自康熙后期恢复烧造以来，历经数十年之经验积累，至乾隆早期唐英榷陶时期更趋成熟，画于乾隆三年左右的《陶冶图册》之“琢器造坯”一章对此记载尤为突出，坯房前放置各式霁红釉瓷器多达十余种，可见当时烧造之盛。本品即为同时期霁红之代表，造型尊贵典雅，曲线优美怡人。釉色润白。外壁施红釉，色如宝石，鲜艳亮泽。霁红一色宝光内蕴，纯正妍丽，为霁红水平之典范。
