此瓶精铜为材，呈六方形，造型取法于秦汉铜器—蒜头瓶，忠实地摹制了六瓣瓜棱蒜头状，凸唇微撇，长颈鼓腹，六棱形腹渐下垂，折肩，底部承接高圈足，近口沿处所饰六棱蒜头饱满而不失动感，颈部六棱齿状戟，形成六个分区，中间以细密云雷纹填地，肩部开六个梯形窗，内以锦地钱纹装点，腹部开六个长方形窗，以细密云雷纹填地，上面浮雕变体夔龙纹，夔龙朝向一致，夔龙线条虽然简约但仍不失神秘感，胫部装饰一周海水波涛纹，海水回旋向前生生不息，动感十足，此件蒜头瓶无论其形制还是其装饰的纹饰，皆可谓明代摹古之作而又别具匠心的进行创新将形制改成了六方，整体观感效果更显端庄威严，浆均匀浑厚，古雅之至，可为香道花器。
