剑璏是古代装饰宝剑上的玉饰之一，穿系于腰带上，即可将剑固定于腰间。《说文》:“璏，剑鼻玉饰也。” 明代中晚期，玉剑璏已逐渐和四套一组的玉具剑脱离，而单独演变成为一种专供赏玩的玉器，彼时文房雅玩发展到鼎盛时期，玉璏大小合宜，古意盎然，温雅直至，作墨床之用极为合适。 本件玉剑璏，形制规矩，为经典的平顶双檐式，前后两端内卷，背后有长方形孔。顶面高浮雕螭龙，在有限的面积内大小双龙面面相对，夸张的S形躯干充满着强劲的运动张力，卷曲如意，瑞意之间，彰显不凡的等级，藏玩皆宜。 原配桂圆木器座
