A SET OF ZUN VESSEL AND LION ORNAMENTS Zun Vessel : W.28cm H.45cm Lion: W.30cm H.33cm Description: This zun vessel has a long neck and a straight mouth,a pair of bridge-shaped ears on the outer rim. There are six tube-shaped ears on the neck and shoulder. The body of the vessel is carved with a multi-layered pile of lotus petals, and the glaze is lustrous and light green where the glaze has accumulated. The lid of the vessel is carved with lotus petal pattern, due to the influence of Buddhism, lotus pattern decoration is prevalent on celadon. The shape of the vessel is tall, the glaze is green.The whole vessel integrates various techniques such as engraving, relief, plastic stacking, mold printing and pasting. The decoration is elaborate and reflects from top to bottom.
