ENAMEL PIPA-LUTE SHAPED HANGING BOTTLE L.39cm W.15cm H.9cm Description: This is a pipa-lute shaped hanging bottle made during Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty, with a mouth, a contracted neck, a rounded abdomen, and a two-tiered ring foot. The belly is decorated with a character story pattern, so called because of its resemblance to a pipa in its longitudinal section.It is decorated with symmetrical animal-face shaped ears.
