TABLE: FIRST HALF OF 20TH CENTURY 酸枝嵌螺钿西式妆台 the top panel delicately inlaid to show a riverscape in a central ovoid reserve, all surrounded by flowers of the four seasons, with a suggestive archaistic scroll border at the corners, all set above a carved hardwood table as a hinging table top to reveal a pull out drawer and mirror. The table carved in relief with fruiting branches, and supported by curving bamboo legs joined by a openwork stretcher in the form of interlocking coins.
