此熏整作六瓣瓜棱样式，体线凹凸有序，起伏自然，均匀规整。盖面中央巧留瓜蒂以作钮，枝蔓顺势蜿蜒生出为饰，其间巧设三处钱币形出烟孔。炉壁两侧松鼠攀爬其上，探头仰望，鲜活灵动，巧为炉耳。腹下承接三简化兽足，据地有力，呈鼎足之势。通体以局部鎏金工艺装饰，犹如云气弥漫，缓缓而动，看似随意，实则经过匠人的巧心施艺，极富装饰效果。 硕瓜藤蔓缠绕蜿蜒，故寓“瓜瓞延绵”之意；鼠在十二时辰为子，喻“多子”之意，表达了古人对多子、多福、多寿的向往，寓意极好。整器造型完美，制式特殊，又融入明代精致文雅的风貌，极为难得。
