A 19th century micro mosaic brooch, depicting a dog and duck at the lakeside, within a 9ct gold surround.Length 5.9cms. 30.4gms. Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Replacement clasp. Pin shows dents. Minor gapping to mount, glue visible to reverse of mount. Black glass with nicks, frits and surface scratches. Tesseri present and in good condition. Client believes a possible attribution to Luigi Moglia.
