A late 19th century 15ct gold shell cameo brooch, carved to depict Eros or Cupid, with roses.Length 4.4cms. 20.5gms. Overall condition good. Base metal pin. Replacement clasp, soft solder visible, pin does not currently sit securely in the clasp. Shell with few fine cracks and minor discolouration. Electronically tests as approximately 15ct gold.
