An opal and diamond dress ring. Estimated dimensions of opal 16.5 by 11.5 by 6.9mms. Ring size R. 6.6gms. Overall condition fair. Moderate marks and wear. Three diamonds deficient. Opal is abraded and appears slightly dull and frosted. Less worn areas to the sides show a fairly strong play-of-colour, with a range of hues. Would benfit from a polish. Opal with small chip to one end beneath a claw. Diamonds mostly rose-cut, with one single-cut. Diamonds fairly bright. Metal to band tests as approximately 22ct gold.
