An Art Deco silver, carved jade, emerald, diamond and black enamel vanity case, by Strauss, Allard and Meyer.French assay marks. Length 8cms. 141.3gms.Jade untested for natural colour origin. Overall condition fair to good. Maker's mark for Strauss, Allard, Meyer. 16529 16426. Some small nicks and scratches to the enamel. Generally appears in good condition, with no obvious losses. Moderate wear to the inside of the case, with some small chips to the edges of the mirror and some marks and scratches to the metal. Diamonds are rose-cuts. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright. Jade appears mottled from a light to medium slightly bluish green hue. Some slightly darker patches. Jade in good condition. One emerald chippped, other with some small abrasions.
