此件作品与北京故宫博物院清宫旧藏的“明·掐丝珐琅缠枝莲纹觚”如出一辙，参见《故宫博物院藏品大系·珐琅器编·1》，安徽美术出版社、紫禁城出版社，2011年，页251，图127. 花觚俊美挺拔，古雅怡人，喇叭形大撇口，腹部稍鼓，下承外撇高圈足。口内及器身均以掐丝珐琅工艺装饰。以天蓝色釉作底，掐丝满饰缠枝西番莲纹，填以红、绿、黄、白各色釉料，莲花雍容绽放，叶脉细韧蜿蜒，布局繁而有序。此器宝光熠熠的釉面、大花小叶的纹饰风格、红、绿两色釉的运用，均具有典型的时代风格，是为陈设佳器，收藏佳品。
