A Chinese embroidered robe, early 20th century, decorated with applied roundels of peony in shades of pink and blue, against a blue ground above applied lotus amongst waves, 116cm across, 91cm long Condition report: Applied rondels and embroidery stitching coming loose, signs or wear and marking around the collar, fabric button hook has come off, buttons missing, marked down the front, fabric faded, loose threads, blue dye has seeped through to the lining, lining stained and torn in places. Sleeves altered with tears to both.
