A Chinese wood water pipe, 19th century, of cylindrical form with metal mountings, inlaid with figures in a garden and an inscription in mother-of-pearl, 21cm long, with a bamboo mouthpiece Provenance: The Trevor Barton Collection. Condition report: Areas of mother-of-pearl missing to the body of the pipe. Collar to the top slightly loose. No collar to the base of the pipe - two labels affixed to the base. Splits. Dents to metal mountings.
