Two Han Dynasty Glazed Pottery Footed Vessels. The first, modeled as a recumbent feline with the circular mouth opposing a twist-rope loop handle, detailed with a protruding nose beneath almond-shaped eyes flanked by upright ears; the second, of cylindrical form, supported on three figural legs, carved in continuous scene with galloping beasts on the exterior between raised horizontal bands. {The first: 9 inches (22.8 cm) long; the second: 8 5/8 inches (21.9 cm) diameter}.
