法鼓是我国西藏地区密宗僧侣手持的一种法器。俗称嘎巴
拉鼓，一般用木板箍成筒身，两侧蒙上涂以绿彩的兽皮，腰间束以坠饰嵌饰宝石金刚杵的彩带，下垂的彩带精绣莲花、法轮、金刚杵等，绣工精美。修法时法鼓经左右两个绳系的鼓槌击打发声，代表赞颂诸佛菩萨的功德。法鼓配合金刚铃、金刚杵使用。
