A good Louis XVI-style mahogany armoire, by Charles Jeanselme c.1870, having two doors with bevelled mirrors within ornate, finely cast, gilt-bronze mounts, the base with a long drawer on turned feet with gilt bronze sabots, 150cm wide 64cm deep 250cm high Condition report: General surface wear, knocks, scratches and chips. Front right dowel and some parts in the same area a little warped, meaning that the top does not presently affix with a great deal of ease. Some discolouration and fading. Light scratches to glass. Tarnish to bronze. Splits to interior. Old knocks/ gouges to right door.
