A pair of Persian pictorial pottery tiles, 19th century, depicting figures in a landscape, 15.5 x 25cm, together with eight similar square tiles, decorated with foliate designs, 14 x 14cm (10) These tiles were recovered during the demolition of a merchant's house in Liverpool. Condition report: with small chips and losses to the edges, crackling to the glaze areas of loss and light abrasions throughout.
