An American camphorwood sailor's cabin trunk, 19th century, with brass heart-shaped corner mounts and painted inside panel to the lid decorated with motto 'E PLUNI BUSUNUM' above an Eagle, crossed ensign and figures rope handles and brass-bound corners, 99cm wide 41cm deep 37cm high Condition report: Good paint colour and condition to the inside of the lid, replaced strap hinged to the lid and split in the timber to the lid, missing lock and clasp together with a replacement small brass clasp, one rope handle missing and five brass corner mounts missing.
