A pair of George III silver sugar tongs, by Peter and William Bateman, London 1814, with bright-cut foliate decoration, 14.5cm long, a King's pattern pair, by Thomas Wallis II and Jonathan Hayne, two pairs, by William Bateman, and four further examples, 8.1ozt (8) Condition report: Tarnish, general surface wear and rubbing throughout. Some slightly misshapen. Some hallmarks slightly rubbed. One pair split and dented to one bowl. Some bowl points slightly dented. General wear commensurate with age and use.
