(20th century) Portrait of a boy, three-quarter-length, wearing a blue suit and hat, holding an orange indistinctly signed l.l., oil on canvas 92 x 61cm Condition report: Oil on a coarse weave canvas support which is unlined. The canvas has good tension. There are minor undulations across the surface and two holes at the lower edge which have been patched from the reverse. The holes have been filled and retouched at the front. Overall the paint layer is in a good condition. There are some drying cracks in the green of the boy’s clothes. The varnish is slightly yellowed but glossy. There are matte areas in the darker passages of the boy’s hat. There is a light layer of surface dirt and some accretions.
