English School, mid-19th century Portrait of a child seated on a chair in an interior miniature on ceramic 13 x 11cm Provenance: the collection of Angus and Alison Hill, prominent folk art collectors, from their Black Isle home on the island of Cromarty, Scotland. Condition report: The paint is crackling a little in the lower left corner and on the chair and there are some small flakes of paint loss. Not seen outside of glazed frame.
