George Goodwin Kilburne (1839-1924) The card players a pair, both signed with initials 'GGK', watercolour and bodycolour 8 x 12cm (2) Condition report: Both lightly discoloured, although the extreme edges of each appear less yellowed so could have been protected by a previous mount. There appears to be the top of a white box visible at the lower edge of each painting, although very difficult to see has mostly hidden under mount. Both have a small area of light paint loss in the lower area, as if rubbed. The scene containing ladies has three white scratches next to the feet of the lefthand gentleman. Neither seen outside of frame.
