A William IV mahogany davenport, the scrolling galleried top with an inset leather writing surface, enclosing an interior compartment fitted with drawers, above a cupboard with drawers and foliate carved front supports, terminating in acanthus detailed feet, 53cm wide 55cm deep 85cm high Condition report: One part of the foliate carving to the right-hand support is off but present. Knocks, discolouration, scratches, splits and repair throughout. Back left castor lacking. Some interior drawers possibly associated. Marks, scratches and wear to leather. Fading and wear throughout.
