A New Hall part tea service, pattern no. 171, the borders with mauve dots between two iron-red lines and an undulating line edged with dots, the main motif a shallow iron-red basket filled with flowers, comprising: a commode-shaped teapot, cover and stand, a boat-shaped teapot, cover and matched stand, 3 milk jugs, 2 slop bowls, 2 sucriers, one ribbed, 7 tea bowls, two ribbed, 6 saucers, one ribbed, 3 tea bowls, and 3 saucers (32) Condition report: Generally no obvious major faults. A few small rim chips (3 or 4). Minor wear. Some firing flaws and fritting.
