As a cartoonist, writer and illustrator, he has participated in the production of many famous Disney cartoons such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Tangled and so forth. Glen is the owner of the Annie Awards for the Best Animated Character in 1992 and the Winsor McCay Award for Lifetime Contribution in 2007. The cartoon Dear Basketball directed by him was awarded the 90th Academy Award for the Best Animated Short Film.
