Under the tutorship of masters including Zhou Cangmi, Lin Kai and Yao Youduo, Song has developed his own style of fisherman painting. Song served as a member of China Artists Association, top artist on national level and a member of Shandong Calligraphers Association and so on. He is famous for his works like Test Field, Civilians on Island, etc.
