Born in 1911 in Shanghai, Jiang was one of the most popular cartoonists and illustrators in Shanghai in the 1930s-1940s. He used to work at Shanghai New Art Publishing House, Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. Jiang was a member of China Artists Association Shanghai Branch and a librarian of The Shanghai Research Institute of Culture and History. Masterpieces include Sino-Japanese War,etc.
