NOTE One of the most brilliant painters of the last class (1944-1949) of the School of Fine Arts of Indochina, Duong Bich Liên practices lacquer, oil and pastel. He also stands out for his illustrations and theatre sets, but he is especially successful in his portraits. With a thoughtful mind, he creates solid works, the fruit of patient research. His paintings can be found in several private collections in Vietnam and abroad.
